Vintage & Classic Wedding Car Hire in the Waikato
Genuine classics, not replicas. Chauffeur driven across the Waikato from $150 per hour.
There is a real difference between a vintage wedding car and a modern car dressed up to look like one. Ours are the genuine article: cars from 1955, 1964 and 1966, maintained and driven rather than parked up as display pieces.
That matters most in the photographs. Original chrome, original lines and paint with sixty years of depth in it do not look the same as a reproduction, and the difference shows up on the day.

Vintage, classic or retro: which is which
The terms get used interchangeably in wedding hire and they do not quite mean the same thing. Strictly, vintage refers to cars built between 1919 and 1930, classic covers the post-war decades, and retro is usually a modern car styled to look older.
Most couples searching for a vintage wedding car are picturing something from the 1950s or 1960s, which is exactly where our fleet sits. If you want a specific era for the album, tell us and we will point you at the right car.

- Windy or coastal venue: think carefully before committing to roof down

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between vintage and classic wedding cars?
Strictly, vintage means built between 1919 and 1930 and classic covers the post-war decades. Most couples asking for a vintage wedding car have a 1950s or 1960s car in mind, which is what our fleet is.
Are the cars original or replicas?
All original. A 1955 Ford Thunderbird, a 1964½ Ford Mustang, a 1966 Jaguar Mark II and a Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG, maintained and driven regularly.
How much does vintage wedding car hire cost in NZ?
Ours run from $150 to $200 per hour depending on the car, with a two hour minimum, including the chauffeur, ribbons and photo stops.

Yes, and plenty of couples do. Mixing two vehicles across the day is a common request and it gives you more variety in the photographs.
