A genuine period car does something to a frame that set dressing cannot fake. Chrome catches light differently, the proportions are wrong in exactly the right way, and nothing about it reads as modern.
We hire the fleet out for stills, video and film work across the Waikato, with a driver who will reposition the car as many times as the shot needs.

How it works on the day
The car arrives clean and comes with a driver who stays for the duration. That matters more than it sounds: these are not cars you want a crew member reversing into position, and having someone who knows the vehicle means you can reposition quickly between setups.
We are happy to work to a shot list, sit idle between setups, or move between multiple locations in a day. Tell us the schedule and we will price it.

Locations we know well
If you need a location as well as a car, we can help. Between the tours we run every week, we know where to find empty rural roads, black sand beaches, limestone country, native bush and long tree-lined driveways, usually without a permit or a crowd.

How much is prop car hire for a shoot?
It depends on the call time, the number of locations and which car you need. Send us the schedule and we will quote it.
Does a driver come with the car?
Yes, always. The driver stays for the full call time and will reposition the car as often as the shoot needs. We do not release the cars for anyone else to drive.
Can you travel outside the Waikato for a shoot?
Usually yes, depending on the distance and the schedule. Get in touch with the details.
Can you help with locations?
We can point you at rural roads, beaches, bush and limestone country across the Waikato that we use on tours every week.
