Jaguar Mark II Wedding Car Hire
The definitive English sports saloon, and the easiest car in the fleet to step out of in a gown. From $150 per hour.
If your reference photographs are black and white and somebody is stepping out of a dark saloon onto a church path, the car in your head is a Jaguar Mark II.
It is the most understated car we own and it is the one we recommend most often to couples who want the wedding to be about them rather than about the vehicle.
Why the Mark II works so well for weddings
The Mark II is the definitive English sports saloon of the 1960s: a low, wide grille, chrome bumpers, wire wheels and a cabin trimmed in leather and walnut. It looks formal without looking like a hire car.
The practical case is stronger still. It is a four door saloon with a high roofline and wide rear doors, which makes it far easier to get into and out of in a full skirt than a low, long limousine. Hair and veil survive the trip intact, which convertibles cannot always promise.
- $150 per hour, the most affordable car in the fleet
- Wide rear doors and a high roofline for gowns and trains
- Roof over your head, so weather is never a problem
- Leather and walnut interior that photographs beautifully
- A genuine 1966 car, not a replica
A Rolls-Royce alternative
Plenty of couples start out looking for a Rolls-Royce and end up in a Mark II. The Jaguar gives you the same era, the same formality and the same silhouette in photographs, usually at a lower hourly rate and with a car that feels less like a period costume.
It also suits a wider range of weddings. A Rolls makes a statement whether you want one or not. The Jaguar is happy to be elegant in the background.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the Jaguar wedding car?
$150 per hour with a two hour minimum, including a suited chauffeur, ribbons in your colours and photo stops.
Is a Jaguar Mark II good for a bride in a large dress?
It is the best car in our fleet for it. Four doors, a high roofline and wide rear openings make getting in and out considerably easier than a convertible or a low limousine.
Can the Jaguar do the whole day?
Yes. Most couples book three hours to cover the ceremony, photos and the reception transfer, but you can book it for as long as you need beyond the two hour minimum.
